Ruh roh. Looks like we’re starting to dole out happy endings to all the characters. Maybe a new strip with Andy headed off to college? Our regulars here could make special appearances…

I could never live out of a suitcase. My books wouldn’t fit.

Where is “home” to Arnold? I thought they met in Haiti, which also would not have been his home.

I like the idea of the glove trotting Grandma. I hope they don’t “stay home” too soon.

Back when we used to move on a regular basis if you hadn’t used it in 6 months and it wasn’t seasonal, ie canning supplies or Christmas, we didn’t move it. Worked really well for getting rid of the extras. Of course the books always went.

For about a decade starting in 2002, I spent most of my time in Wisconsin helping with the grandchildren when they were quite young. Now I still keep a lot of the stuff I use in threesuitcases in the hall (or along the kitchen island when in WI), because I know whether most things are and where to keep them, and it makes it lots easier to pack. It drives my husband and daughter nuts at times, but they’re kind of coming around . . .
