When I was a kid, my favorite channel was WLVI-56 out of Boston (it was a UHF channel). However, they didn’t come on-air until 7:00am, with “The Flintstones”. Before that…nuthin’ but static until 6:45, then it was a test pattern with pretty music until the hour.

My favorite TV show in the morning was “Captain Kangaroo”!! Ooops! I’m showing my age …… Big-Time Baby Boomer!

When I was growing up, the only show that might be on that early in the morning was the US Farm report.
