Actually the bra was invented by a woman, as an alternative to corsets (thank goodness). For me, if the fastener was in the front, it would come undone whenever I was active and the ‘girls’ moved around enough. So I like it in back. Some bras do fasten in the front.

That is how I felt when I took my 11-year-old daughter bra shopping. She’s my “baby”. I didn’t feel nearly so bad with her older sister.
