Laura: Come on, sleepy-head. Time to get up. Adam: Well, it's pre-Father's Day Sunday, so I'm going to sleep in. Laura: No way. Katy has soccer, and Clayton has a birthday party at the jump 'n' fall. I need your help. Adam: Hey, I didn't invent the holiday. I just abide by its bylaws. Laura: I want to see the bylaw where it says you get to sleep in the week before the holiday. Adam: Well, that particular amendment was destroyed by an embittered gang of wives. They had pitchforks and torches and lots of angry scowls on their faces. Laura: Did they leave any membership applications?
