Wileywill: When I was in ’Nam, got to fly her around in our bird (Huey), sitting next to her for a couple days, she did become my “temp sweetheart”. She was also VERY nice to us and a pleasure.
The only “celebrity” we dealt with who was better was Martha Raye- Martha was absolutely OUTSTANDING, as a nurse, she really cared about the troops, all of us. She remained my #1 Heroine till she passed.

In retrospect, Nancy was hot!…Her duets with her Dad and Lee Hazlewood are classics and hold up well……
