The problem is before being elected he literally had zero (not one day) of executive experience. He doesn’t know how to manage. The executive offices are management offices unlike legislative. Management is getting work done through people. We can see how that is working.

Bush always had a clean desk- indicative of function. I always considered a clean desk the sign of a sick mind.

“W’s prime “experience” coming to the White House was executing more people than any other Governor in U.S. history— it should have given folks more pause.

HIs interests were limited to starting wars (not ending them) and cutting brush in Texas- kept his desk pretty clean.

He is working. He’s done far more than most, and hasn’t talked about it much. Unlike some of his predecessors who bragged about things they didn’t do or even that they failed to do. It’s too bad that people hate him so thoroughly without any good reason. Most of the early posters on this list were snarking at him before he even took office, so their credibility as critics at this point is zero.

@ Bruce - while I’m not quite happy at how things have been, pushing through the stimulus, SCHIP, healthcare reform, finance reform, the various foreign initiatives do count for something. I’m not sure if that’s more than “most”, but he hasn’t been goofing off the entire time ;) .

Bruce, George W. Bush set the all-time record for time away from the White House: More than two and a half years. “Bush had spent all or part of 879 days at his Crawford, Texas ranch or at Camp David, surpassing Reagan’s mark of 866. By the time he left office, George W. Bush had made 149 trips to and spent 487 days at Camp David, with another 77 getaways to (and 490 days at) Crawford. Toss in 11 visits and 43 days at his folks’ compound in Kennebunkport, Maine and President Bush spent 1020 days - 35% of his presidency - getting away from the White House.” For contrast, Obama spent all or part of 26 days “on vacation” his first year; Bush spent all or part of 69. (Including when he was briefed by the CIA on the “Bin Laden Determined to Strike” memo, which Bush dismissed.) Ahem…?

These political party people socialize at Tea Party’s, etc. and you others in uniform do their biding!!!! WHY????

Who has taken your freedom? political party people And when was your freedom taken? 1957

    JUST SAY NO…………………………….

“Socialism is a political philosophy that encompasses various theories of economic organization based on either public or direct worker ownership and administration of the means of production and allocation of resources.

A more comprehensive definition of socialism is an economic system that directly maximizes use-values as opposed to exchange-values and has transcended commodity production and wage labour, along with a corresponding set of social and economic relations, including the organization of economic institutions, the method of resource allocation and post-monetary calculation based on some physical magnitude;often implying a method of compensation based on individual merit, the amount of labour expended or individual contribution.”

Given what exists NOW in North America, Socialism is the only political philosophy which can be fair to all.
