I see Happy has someone doing his posting for him now…

Some of us resemble that remark of vacuums and consorts with dogs. I also dearly love my 5 cats. Someone has to clean up after my children. They sure aren’t very good at doing it themselves. Like the Ten Cats they feel like hostages because I won’t let them outside unless I take them one at a time in the fenced garden with me no exceptions. Kitties shouldn’t run free around my house. I have a momma black bear and 3 babies that come up to the house. That said kitties stay inside as hostages.

Thank you for your helpful wishes, for your good thoughts and prayers for the loss of my sweet Blitzi. It is so good to know I’m not alone with my sorrows and grief. I trained (I use that word loosely) Big Man to give me five when I hold out my hand – and I did it without giving him treats,just a pat and a compliment. He will, of course, do it for treats!

UPDATE ON MY LEFT EYE I saw the eye surgeon today. He said that my eye is healing faster than most. (The result of your prayers and best wishes). There is still some inflammation in the eye. He phoned in two prescriptions. They are to be used 4 times daily until I see him again on August 31. Thanks again. Have an abundant day my friends.

I am blessed! No surgery! God is Good!

You know, Chesney deserves a kitty whuppin’ on his little rear portion….cue Eldo….LOL

Sorry it is so late. Had early doctor appointment. Ended up taking all day. But…….drum roll please…………I have a date for surgery!!!!!! August 17th. They also did a chest x-ray, made appointments for per surgery check up and talk with anesthesiologist. Picked up my tens unit. That will be great after surgery.I am surprised that the date is so soon after all I have heard. Not only is the head of the department going to do it, but depending on howthings go with the first hip, he said he would do both in the one surgery. Recovery will actually be easier, faster and better. Now I’ll have to call in some favors so my babies will be taken care of while I’m in the hospital and line some friends up to come “keep me honest” after I get home. It is supposed to get real hot the next few days so I’m glad the truck will be cool.

PamHooray! The sooner you get the surgery the better, especially before winter and slippery snow flies. I’ll ask St. Anthony to watch over you during the operation, he’s good with stuff like that!Good thoughts coming your way…..

Starman148That is great news, the inflammation will subside and you will be as good as new again. I’m glad it will be healed with drops only.

@2old…had to go back for ANOTHER look at the Jellybean kitten biting the ‘hand that feeds her’. Oh my, but I went through that with my Marcel (1984-1997) (I was a human chew stick). My heart broke when he crossed the RB and the vet sent me to Animal Haven, where Kristen and Dale were adopted. Marcel was my 1st long hair.
