    That is why the caSINo’s make so much money. When the gambler wins he (or she) rides the winning streak … until he loses. When they lose they double up because the odds are they will win now. And so it goes until there is no money left for the families needs.

    i used to drive a tour bus up to the casinos, at the end of the day I’d asked how many won money – the majority said they did!! Upon closer inspection – most would say they brought $300 and only lost $200, therefore they made $100. How do they think the casinos can keep building multi million dollar buildings??

    I think I read it in a joke book, but it would fit in a book of truisms, too: Gambling is an excellent way of getting nothing for something.
