Nope. It didn’t. The Ferguson mayor did make a choice that in a crisis situation, human lives matter more than property. But that’s not a thought that comes naturally to modern conservatives.
Destroying property is just stupid. When they had the riots in Chicago a lot of businesses in black communities burned and then those communities spent twenty years trying to rebuild. Businesses were very reluctant to come into those communities and the people went without grocery stores and other needed businesses for many years.
