An interesting statistic I heard last night that actually does seem within the bounds of the numbers, roughly 32 church fires a week in the U.S., mostly mosques and synagogues, and most are only minor, not destroying the structures. The numbers for these reported fires DO in all cases demand thorough arson invesigations when the cause isn’t obvious, like electrical, kitchen fires, candles. If there’s any accelerant used to start or spread fire? That’s not random or accidental.
