I agree. That’s no dress for a wedding.

I’ve seen worse dresses at weddings, especially for the bridesmaids.

Holly, it could be sooo much worse. I picturing a coconut bra and grass skirt in your future if you keep complaining…

Reminds me of a line from some TV show. “You call this a bridesmaid’s dress? It doesn’t even have puffy sleeves!”

Unlike most bridesmaid dresses, these can be worn on the street or a luau!!

What? No grass skirts?The girls would both like those. Holly could swish around and Alix could hide critters in hers.

My ex once had a Hawaiian shirt made from fabric whose design was assorted miniature Hawaiian shirts. Got the fabric in a chain fabric store. They could make dresses (or for Alix, a top and shorts) if the store still carries that design. All right, I’m getting a tad carried away here.

Golly, it sounds as though there are plenty of wedding planners around here. I just hope that both girls find something they like.

Holly doesn’t remember that the Hawaiian theme with waving palm trees and beach sand was actually her suggestion initially (that was a while back I believe), but Val wanted ‘simple’. Now that Evie is doing the planning maybe they will have something like that.
