“They believe that only the rich should be able to go to a doctor.”Not really, but they do believe that if Obama is for it they must oppose it, logic be damned.

The problem is they have become a splintered party run by wacko prima donnas who all want to add president to their resume. The moderate republican got lost somewhere. None of them seem to be interested in helping middle class.

The basis of what they call Obamacare was written by Republicans as a counter proposal to the Clinton health reform bill. It’s not that Republicans oppose affordable healthcare, it’s that they have to be seen opposing anything the Democrats propose. If Obama had proposed universal coverage, the Republicans would have trotted out Obamacare and we wouldn’t have to put up with all this anti-Obamacare crap today.

it strikes me that “Obamacare” might just be a foot in the door towards universal health care, which is what this country really needs.

So, what kind of health care system do the Republicans/Fox “news” viewers want? (at least the ones who post here)

Sting sings “even Russians love their children too”, but the way Republicans are treating America, and their attitude from health care to climate change, to corporate hegemony, it’ s getting obvious they don’t care about their children OR posterity for others. Their current policies will lead to a situation in which even THEY will lose it all, but they can’t be convinced.
