It really isn’t delusional to think that any of the people you mentioned might get the nomination. When you are running against a whole field of people who are mind bogglingly inept, it’s pretty much a tossup. And, Trump has the money to buy a lot of good ads. I KNOW at least 20 Republicans who are less hopeless than anyone on their list. Maybe they should just put the names of all registered Republicans in a big hat and draw one. They couldn’t do much worse.

Unfortunately, you need to absolutely destroy and bankrupt a state to get the credentials you need for a Republican primary in this day and age. If you live in a Red state, pray that your governor doesn’t want to run for president.
