Arnold: Evie, this is amazing...we two seniors travelling in Asia...
Gramma Evie: SENIORS? I wouldn't describe us as senior...
Arnold: Really? How WOULD you describe us?
Gramma Evie: Mid-century modern!
INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL
I’ve gotten in at times on senior prices and I’m not but closing in. Evie is in better shape then me :(
Glad to see a different scene thanks Ms. Eliot.
I wish every a safe Memorial Day weekend as we remember what the day really means to the ones who lost their lives for our freedom.
Arnold is junior to Evie, but senior to everyone else in the strip. AARP starts sending people mailers at age 45 or something, and since Arnold IS a “Retired Person” he may consider himself to be in his Autumn years…
And now he thinks of his lifeAs vintage wine,From fine old kegs,From the brim to the dregs,It poured sweet and clear,It was a very good year…
It might just be a baseless assumption on my part. He doesn’t appear to have to work for a living, and there’s been no indication that Evie has been bankrolling the globetrotting for both of them.
I figure him for a guy who had a modestly successful hi-tech start-up, then sold his company to Bill Gates for a tidy sum. Something like that. Not FILTHY rich, but he doesn’t have to worry about money anymore…

I’m hoping AARP misses me. I’m over 50 I know employers are skipping me.

I didn’t know that Arnold was retired. When did that come up?
