Our dog quickly learned “walk”, so we had to spell it. Then he learned “w-a-l-k”, and we started pronouncing it backwards “klaw”. Then he learned that and we starting spelling it backwards. He never caught on to “k-l-a-w”.
Our dog used to love going on the boat. Every time she heard the word “boat” she was at the door scratching to go out to the car.
As a result, we had to be careful when ever we were discussing our boat. It was federally registered as Family Affair, so we always were careful to use “Family Affair”, to avoid an issue…
