For my comment yesterday thank you for answering. I agree Jan does excellent job on her strips. For me I would enjoy looking back to how Val meat Phil and the history. I do not have time to go back at the start. Jan has earned time off. I wished Jan would explain if all strips will be reruns?

Phil your days of Step-dad to the girls will be interesting.

Another strip FBOFW did exactly as she said weekly is rerun just more updated, except on Sunday she did retire. Not sure of Jan Eliot. I just hope we get strips of Phil now married strips. Just not closure of SS after history is done.

What happened to Holly’s allergy blotches?

The girls are about to enter a whole new world where there’s an expert detector or lies and sneaky bad deeds. Plus two people, not nearly so tired as their mom before, to manage them. Dream while you can, girls.

Why couldn’t the Teenager and the little baby have Hawaiian shirts. Not fair….

Surely Val isn’t dreaming and will wake up not married!

So, what’s next? A storyline about Val changing her last name to Phil’s, and whether or not Holly and Alix should do the same thing? (But if they all change, then there’s nobody named Stone left in the strip – does the title change as well?)

Dear Jan,

it was clear from your website letter that you DO read these comments, so here is an impassioned plea… “…PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not let this be the last new Stone Soup strip…”. Somehow (from your and others’ comments) it was not clear whether flashbacks will be forever or just intermittent.
