It is Hillary in the dive suit. She’s gone to the wrong boat. Meant to go to the one off of Welfare Island, I mean Roosevelt Island. (Hillary was dead broke, now she’s going to be on Welfare.)
Now, for once, you’ve actually said something largely true. I seriously doubt she would have either been elected as a senator (and not from some two-bit state like Kentucky or Wyoming, either), or been able to run a credible race for the presidency eight years ago, or serve honorably as Secretary of State had it not been for slick Willie. But those are the facts. It’s also a fact that her husband did a tolerably good job. His support for repealing Glass Steagal, together with the plutocrat republicans, led to the financial crisis. Then, too, Bill Clinton got $600k from defense contractor Loral, and then promptly allowed them to sell advanced missile guidance technology to the Chinese. So, I’m not a big supporter of everything the Clintons did, or do. But compared to the snickering frat boy ex-alcoholic, George W. Bush, the Clintons are practically saintly. Well, not saintly, but at least they didn’t screw things up the way W did. Now, George H. W. Bush was a pretty good president. But poor Jeb really seems to carry the weight of his idiot brother. See, that’s what a fair and balanced comment looks lik, Denis. Because, unlike the Rush fans, I actually have nuanced viwpoints that cross party lines and seek to understand. Can you say the same thing? Then prove it. Tell us a few things President Obama has done well.
