Ralph: One chocolate long john, Timmy! Timmy: You got it, Ralph! Mailman: Here's your mail, Timmy! Hey, didn't I just see you in another donut shop? Ralph: Huh? Mailman: I did! You ordered a chocolate long john! Timmy: You're going to other donut shops behind my back, Ralph? You probably do that so you can tell your wife you only bought one donut here! Mailman: Do you go to donut shops all day long?? Ralph: Timmy, I can explain... Timmy: Don't bother! Ralph: I have different kinds of problems than most people!

Mmm, cinnamon twists.When I was kid, we used to sneak out and walk to the all-night bakery – nothing like cinnamon twists fresh from the oven at 2am.

I’m reminded of “The Honeymooners” — after Ralph and Norton had one of their arguments, Norton got upset that Ralph was going bowling in “their alley” with someone else. Similar humor was also occasionally used in sketches on the Carol Burnett Show.
