Even if Ma had already ordered, they would have served everyone else first; people who were more likely to leave a tip.Re: their orders, no this and that because they’re just so very sensitive and special. I’m sure that each of us has been in line in a coffee shop behind someone who wants a decaf skinny double frappelappa mendocino with extra jamba juice but no varietal and a twist of cantaloupe. When that happens I can see myself growing significantly older waiting for my order. I want more than anything else for the beleaguered barista to call out, “Gimme a decaf #2.”
Did I just notice that the only thing on the menu tonight was pork butt with carrots and tater tots? (Well, we know where there are five lardasses.) And we have pad thai, (does she even know what that is?) Jerry’s ED-preventing Alfedo and Burl’s skinless fried chicken. (Is skinless fried chicken even worth ordering, let alone eating?)I see poor Patty’s there. She must be praying for an emergency call now that will take her far, far away.
….some of the outfits are sorta loud, too. Well, maybe not Patty’s. But the group that the Blubber Club is currently whining about seems to be more sensibly dressed in environmentally friendly color hues. Could be a contributing factor to their getting more prompt, efficient service…….
