I’m conservative and it’s the best thing to happen. First time in years I didn’t hear kardashian

I was under the impression that conservatives were largely supportive and that it marked certain progress or evolution in attitudes.

I get the impression that many conservatives are ok with this. It ends up being a few billionaires and the folks sucking up to them that are having a problem.

I haven’t heard anyone up in arms over this non story. Katy can do what it wants, and I don’t care to hear all about it. I know Nancy Grace is on the case though. She is going to get to the bottom of it’s bottom whether we want to know or not.-The media can divert us from the real issues and keep hiding Mrs. Clinton for a last minute run at the presidency.

I was totally under the impression that it was the media that was overreacting. Maybe Nick is trying to divert the attention from that fact. To the rest of us: who gives a hoot, I’m guessing his/her family have gone through enough.

It should be noted it’s more the RELIGIOUS conservatives, rather than the POLITICAL ones who are bent about Jenner. There are hyper religious POLITICAL “lefties” who are also bent. NOTE: not all liberals are anti-religious, by any means. BTW; being Hindu, Buddhist, or other “non-bible” religions does NOT make you a person without faith. That most non-bible relgions tend toward the non-violence side, as opposed to fearing a hateful “god” who’s gonna’ kill you in the end, is also something to conisider in this era of hate-based radical religionists.

It’s just another in a long series of “Forget What Really Matters in the World, Look at This” stories we get fed when the Politicians want us to forget their Crimes.

Wow; how can you compare that with this? One is about personal choice. The other is about a major crime.

Isn’t this the usual reaction of Conservatives to pretty much anything that doesn’t fit their worldview/weltanshauung of what (at least according to them) should be normal? (i.e. “Back in MY day, Men were MEN and we’d beat the $#!+ outta any panzy who’d dare wear a dress outside of a college frat initiation!”)

I think people with even half a brain would react like that after the constant onslaught of Jenner/Kardashian coverage media blitz.
