Tia Carmen: Today is Friday the 13th... a day filled with bad luck and evil omens! Gracie: Tia Carmen, today's the 13th... Gracie: But Friday was yesterday. Tia Carmen: Goodness! Tia Carmen: The trickery has already begun.
I would think Monday the 13th would be worse than Friday the 13th. At least with Friday the 13th, you still have the weekend to look forward to. Ha ha.
very pogo. churchy lafemme would get crazy about “friday the thirteenth lands on a thursday this month”, etc .thursday being closer to friday than monday. having the 13th be on thursday was consequently much worse.
In Mexico and other parts of Latin America (not sure about Spain), the evil day is Tuesday the 13th, so I wonder why Tía Carment is so upset about Friday/Thursday the 13th.

Reminiscent of the Pogo comic strip where the characters celebrate Friday The 13th…every month!
