Dogs know a fan when they see one. We had our two over to the local fest the other day, and they picked up a few new “best friends”. Many were children, of course, all of whom were, interestingly, extremely well-behaved in how they approached the dogs. They asked if they could pet them first, were very slow-moving and gentle. One little sweetie asked if they were brother and sister (her brother was with her and she was putting those who live together in a familiar frame.) The ones who didn’t want to interact with the dogs were very careful in stepping around them. All in all, a very good day.
