I was in an I-HOP. There was a kid acting up; throwing food being noisy, bothering people in other booths. When the waitress came up to the family of the child and asked would there be anything else, an elderly man in the booth beside them said, “Yeah, a belt.”
Funny story J. I too was in an IHOP. As soon as I got seated I noticed two small toddlers being fussy, whining, crying, needing more than anything else a nap. As I was leaving I told the waitress “I thought I liked kids before I came in here”. She said, ‘you get used to it’. Not sure if she meant as a mother or as a member of the waitstaff..
