I think we’re officially in shaggy dog story territory.

This strip is like the joke where the parrot is scared straight from cussing, after he sees the frozen chicken in the freezer – “What did HE do?”

Our grand daughter’s dog likes his cage at night (the door is left open.)

My brother-in-law has two kennels for his big dog lab. When he is there at my moms house let the dog out of his kennel. The one at their home he found a way to get out of his kennel. This lab is very scared of thunder and stays close to my sister. My daughter has a cage for their third dog only used when eating or young third dog is having a treat when the other two are done with theirs. Otherwise all three have the freedom.

We use to kennel our dog at night. Then she started getting paranoid about being in there. Now she sleeps at the foot of the bed on her blanket. She’s happy, I’m happy… the wife… not so much.

We have to crate our dogs when we go out. One of them has severe separation anxiety and works himself to a frenzy if he is loose in the house/yard and we are not home. If he is crated, he just settles in and takes a nap.
