Phil: I know you had misgivings about the wedding after the accident. Val: You do? Phil: I pretended to be asleep while you were talking about it...hoping it would blow over. Val: I hope you don't make a habit of that when we're MARRIED. Phil: See! It blew over!!

He seems to be doing really well—using just one crutch. However, what goes with the head injury to still be bandaged?

It’s about time she starting thinking more logically and is acting mature now.

One crutch may be enough for one broken (healing) leg. The pelvic fracture could be a crack rather than a full break – hideously painful, but potentially quicker to mend.
My OH fractured his pelvis many years ago, but it wasn’t practical to do anything except take as much rest as possible, and some pretty strong painkillers. He’s fine now.
As for the head bandage – maybe Phil’s embarrassed about the stitch marks! I expect it’ll come off for the wedding.
I hope the sun shines for them.

I don’t blame her for being so scared. She’s been thru hell being widowed 1 time. She did the right thing voicing her fears and her family did the right thing listening and pushing. Today we see them acknowledge the fears – and their love. Jan Eliot is a wise woman with the way she handles this type of love and family!

This is a family strip, and they’re at his aunt’s house (with who knows who-all else around). We can’t expect them to go all Luann and Quill on us!

That’s a Much Smaller bandage on his head and it most likely covers up a nice row of Stitches..What are the chances the Doctor embroidered his Initials on the forehead?
