When my aunt and I lived together her older dog was taught to play by my puppy- but also quickly learned ways to get her to run around a lot and he got to take it easy. The wall between the kitchen and living room opens at both ends, and he’d chase her a few steps, she’d circle, he’d turn around, chase her a few feet the other way… until the pup was ready for a nap too
