Dale is special? He was a dunce in junior High as they awarded him his dunce hat at graduation, so what kind of special is he? He would however be a better catch than Burl, as Dale always has a smile and pleasant outlook on situations while Burl is always negative and complaining.
Burl always fondly remembers his wedding, especially the honeymoon. That was his favorite part, because she was in the bathroom when room service came, and he got to eat two of her shrimp before she came out. And they were exhausted the next morning. There was a Ronald Reagan film marathon on TV.
