    Droughts seldom end with a rainfall, especially heavy and quick ones. It takes a long slow steady rain allowing the water to soak into the ground to end a drought.

    Actually, it takes about a month of rain. I should know. Our drought just ended – after a month of rain.

    In Sweden, we haven’t needed to water our lawns at all this summer. I has been raining constantly.
