actually I agree with her; if you run with somebody else you get more tired because you have to fit your speed to the other person’s. Also, when you try to talk you get more tired, and if you talk back is only to be polite; that’s also a reason why most smart watches and fitness bands are also a mess, try to watch a message on your wrist on a small screen while you are jumping up and down while running..

The only time I listen to my mp3 player while exercising is when don’t have an exercise partner to talk to.
