I grew up skateboarding on the steep hill I lived on; we painted a slalom course on the street. Dodging buses and cars from the school at the foot.I now live in a hilly neighborhood with wide streets and sidewalks: perfect! But the Kids These Days® don’t want hills— they want the parks with the curbs and rails. Their trucks are so loose for their stunts that they can’t go downhill: the dreaded “speed wobbles!”
