Police Man: What does looting and destruction have to do with social justice?
Woman: What does severing the spine of a young black man have to do with protecting and serving?
The police should have gotten him medical attention from what I saw on the tape, which raises the question; exatly WHEN did his cervical spine injury occur?? It appears it may have been before he was ever loaded in that paddy wagon.
The small businesses destroyed are not owned by the police department. They are owned by ordinary middle class folks, often members from the same community. It is shameful that the looters take their vengeance to their own.

The police always know how to turn a demonstration into a riot. Watch the footage of them picking bystanders to knock down and brutalize. Be glad they haven’t noticed you.
Well we have to wait until the investigation/prosecution decision is done. I am hoping the police did the right thing. I always hope that people do the right thing. But handing the investigation over to the state attorney general and the fact that a previous unrevealed stop by the police officers happened does not bode well for them.
