I always knew there was a reason that I never trusted those who habitually refer to themselves in the third person. That alone is sufficient reason for why Melvin creeps me out, even without a host of other ‘ew’ factors.
Maybe it’s because ‘the haystack’ doesn’t constantly refer to himself in the third person. Or come off like he thinks he’s God’s gift to women.
