How many innocent people do you think would have been killed by the people who were killed in that drone attack, not to mention the drones that didn’t kill innocent people, if the attacks hadn’t taken place?
Correction.Drone: “I just saved a hundred people from dyinging in a suicide car bomb.”Gun: “I just save a single mother and her 3 kids from an intruder looking to do them harm”.
First of all, many times just a homeowner showing or announcing a gun results in an intruder fleeing and those are NOT reported.2nd point, those that have guns in their house for self defense tend to live in areas of high crime. I’m not talking about a guy in Iowa who goes duck hunting twice a year with his shotgun. So when you say people with guns in the home are more likely to be killed by guns, you’re including drug dealers, gangbangers and people that live in horrible cities like Detroit where they are likely to be killed whether they have a gun or not.
“Residents of homes with guns are far more likely to be injured to killed than residents of homes with no guns.”.…and people who drive or are transported in automobiles are much more likely to die or become maimed in a car crash than people who don’t. .duh.
^ Sorry to hear about your loved one that passed.I have a loved one that protected his family from a gang of thugs trying to break into his house. Luckily he had a gun and lived.
