I sold a pair of “gently used” inline skates for a similar reason. Wrecked 3 times and nary a scratch, but a few blood stains on the lining depreciated their value considerably.
If I had a buck for every little thing that injured or wounded me, I’d be filthy rich today.

I learned how to grow back together at an early age and have been doing it quite frequently ever since.
