You know, so many of the old strips that have been taken over by a younger generation of artists have failed, in my opinion, to come up to the standard set by the original creator of the strip, such as Wizard of Id, B.C., Beetle Bailey, Dennis the Menace, The Katzenjammer Kids, and especially Alley Oop. But Jim does an outstanding job with Gasoline Alley. Thank you Jim! Gasoline Alley is still up there at the top!
Wow! Beautiful! Jim, this is really quite wonderful!I sure hope, however, that Joel did not accidentally lose his pipe (falling out of his mouth as he struggled to save Rufus). I hope instead, he was able to put it into his jacket pocket. After Joel saves Rufus, he will have earned several big swigs from the jug.
