The chase is on. Let’s go! I wonder how many gambling spots Jimmy Choo Shooz has. I see that his “fame” has preceded him. Tracy is already familiar with him and what he does.

Unless those he kills have some knowledge that connects directly to his operation of the theft.

Yeah, it seems as if they know too much.

I’m thinking the Gold Theft is a distraction while Jimmy grabs cash …

I suspect Jimmy wants to keep all the gold for himself, and is systematically rubbing out everyone who worked with him on that caper and knows where the gold is stashed. He’s also taking the collection money so he can hide out for awhile until the heat’s off. That’s my theory at least.

There is such a contrast here, though. The train robbery baffled everybody. Then he ruins the finesse of it all by leaving a highly visible trail of dead bodies. Has something gone wrong, and he’s desperate?

It’s good to see that Tracy and Sam actually have backup looking after the murder scene so that the two of them can get back on the trail.

Jimmy Choo Shooz seems to be desperate and improvising on the run. Perhaps he needed ready cash (not having yet monetized the gold bullion) and so hit the first bookmaking joint, then realized the Blackhearts as well as the cops would be after him and thereupon panicked, proceeding irrationally to rub out anyone who could finger him (meaning all his associates in the heist or anyone who knew anything about it). It’s a hopeless, pointless, time-wasting task that can only end with either the Blackhearts or the MCU catching him…..

Hmm, possibly he treated all his bookies to a weekend at his cabin and is now regretting letting them know where his hideout is.

Good Ole Tracy.. always playing catch-up! Now, maybe its just ME but wouldn’t a career criminal who is out on bail be jeopardizing the terms of his bail by being in a “booking agency”? Last I knew, gambling was still illegal

I also find it rather funny in a “my God doesn’t anyone check up on co-workers and friends anymore” sort of way that NOThiNG has been mentioned about Johnny (THE MAN!!) Adonis getting the living heck beaten out of him in an alleyway (months ago our time and I am assuming only DAYS tracy time)

A few days ago I had attempted to post here about the lag on the strip with the current story, and came up with my own “wrap up”

I wish I had written it BEFORE trying to post it as my system whacked out on me and I lost the entire thing (i’m still getting used to the keyboard on the laptop as opposed to the standard keyboards…one of these days I will post an unedited comment so yall can have a good laugh)

The long and short of the attempt was that its taking Tracy so long to solve this that Trey ends up closing the case along with Honeymoon and Joe, Bonnie takes over Tracy Investigations, Lizz is promoted (again) to Police Chief when Patton retires, Wendy Wichel gets killed in the crossfire and replaced as head newscaster by Brenda Starr, Mayor Armstrong gets thrown in jail after her accepting a bribe from Warbucks comes to light and Basil St. John wins the election to become the new Mayor. We also….FINALLY discover that VB’s running buddy Vitamin turns out to be Mr Bigg

I don’t think all those people Jimmy Choo Shooz has killed were in on the train robbery, if only because one of them would probably have tipped off the Blackhearts about Jimmy’s plans. We know Fontaine knew what Jimmy was planning, but he seemed a friend of Jimmy’s.I’m betting that Jimmy’s crime wave is his last step before leaving town – hit the bookie joints before their scheduled “deposit” with the Blackhearts, and pocket a load of cash to grease palms as he gets out of the country.

The train robbery went smoothly and efficiently because he was using someone else’s plan. This silencing of henchmen is Jimmy’s own addition to the souffle.

It’s not entirely unreasonable from Jimmy’s point of view either; in all of the really big bank jobs I’ve ever read about, the crooks eventually got caught because one of them broke and confessed. And as Robert Newton used to say, “Dead Men Tell No Tales! Arr!”

But Jimmy’s current course of action carries risks of its own. If Team Tracy can get to one of the henchmen before Jimmy silences him, the guy might well spill everything out of fear for his life.

Just when I thought Silver Nitrate took the Gold Medal for stupidity, along comes Jimmy Choo. Maybe he equates Tracy in the same manner that the baddies did when Tracy was chauffering Dr. Mordred around. I got news for you, Jimmy; my man Tracy has been taking his smart pills!

There seems to be a lot of pieces of this story missing. Like what happened to the train car that carried the gold? How and where was the gold moved to? Seems that the Lake will play a part in that somehow. Were there any survivors of the train crew? Jimmy does seem to have a plan but he’s acting in a reckless manner. I hope this all gets tied together and we get all the answers. Don’t leave anything hanging guys.
