Petey: HEY! That's my clay pot in the showcase! Viola: Look at that! Of course, it's the rear, secondary, Art room showcase. Not the Front Hall showcase. Viola: And it's on the very bottom shelf, behind a papier mache King Tut mask. And your name tag is askew. Viola: But still! It's very nice! Petey:Well, it's not my best work.

Suddenly I don’t like Viola so much. I thought she was kinda romantic on Petey, but now she’s coming off as a sorta passive aggressive big sister.

Way to go, Viola. You’re not very good at expressing affection, are you?How awkward….

In defense of Viola, I think this is just their dynamic. I believe she cares for Petey “Potterpoop” but enjoys a little snappy repartee, in a teasing but non-malicious manner.

I think Viola is a perra.

Actually, I think this is elementary/middle school. If a kid likes someone of the opposite sex, he/she is brutal with mockery and denial. They don’t want to be seen as liking that person, even to the admired’s face.

There are people who are incapable of expressing affection or offering emotional support in any way to family members. However, tese people may seem great to acquaintances. It’s really sad for the family members who crave such affection and support. I’m familiar with this situation and try to consider the source.
