This is a logical action for a member of The Stupid Party.

Common Core, of course, has nothing to do with the federal government.

Yes Common Core is really evil, I don’t know why the government wants to make sure our kids get a decent education? Who cares that other developed countries score much better in education, math, and science? We have a basic right to be stupid!

Common Core is a bipartisan/nonpartisan effort that was initiated at the state, not the federal level. Funded largely by large private sector actors. GW Bush was a major proponent. So, obviously anathema for the Republicans. What?.

It is more the implementation of Common Core than the standard itself. We don’t need excessive homework for the younger students, but we do need to perpetuate the United States “can do” attitude that is still the envy of the world. http://www.corestandards.org/about-the-standards/myths-vs-facts/

I have mixed feelings on Common Core but I have a fairly negative view of “Bobby the Page Boy.”

Mebbe he’s got Common Core confused with ACORN — Wouldn’t be the first time, I saw a rightie do that.

( Tho’ admittedly, the other time it was just a poster on a forum, not anyone in a position of power. )

Interesting that none, NOT ONE, of the Republicans/Fox “news” viewers said one word of praise for Jindal. Just like Rafael Cruz.

Not that it matters, since both have already lost the Koch/Adelson/big donor primary to Bush.

They both think they have a chance to be selected as VP candidate.

Someone else threw their hat into the ring for liberals to feed on? How compassionate!

“Math is hard, lets go shopping”, so says talking Barbie.
