The lettering seems small because the original page was so big. This is about as big as twelve or sixteen current Sunday strips.
I have a 30" 4k monitor that I use for photo editing. Going full screen, zooming in and magnifying gets me fairly close to the original. Beautiful stuff!
If I wasn’t lazy, I’d rotate my second monitor to portrait mode, but that entails moving a bunch of smaller things to do it.
