The KITT car had a self preservation program, & prevented Michael Knight from destroying the car & himself during a test run. They should be able to install such advanced devices in today’s aircrafts to keep anyone from initiating Kamikaze crash dives.

Just test ‘em for anti-depressants, and some other “drugs” that make you flunk your FAA flight surgeon’s physical.
