Remember when the teachers (if they were so inclined) would turn on the radio on the first day of school so we could listen to the World Series? Now, I swear, they play the game in the snow.

Love baseball – I can be working in the yard or shed with the game on the radio, and keep up perfectly. Not so much with other sports.

I think the length of the MLB season is just about the same amount of time as one NBA game.

Best part of the season is on opening day at Wrigley when the guys are holding up signs that read “JUST WAIT ’TIL NEXT YEAR!”

This sounds like our Grandson’s baseball season. Everlasting. It begins early Spring (freezing in the stands) and ends late Fall (freezing in the stands).

I remember baseball games taking 2 to 2 1/2 hours at most.
Greed has ruined the game of baseball on the part of BOTH players AND owners.

For some reason, Meatloaf was the first thing that crossed my mind with the baseball dialog.
