Placemats or paper towels?
Ha! I get mine at Estate sales, today I got 11 placemats and 7 matching napkins for $4, I don’t like the color much, but still……

Placemats? On special occasions, we use paper towels as napkins, shirt sleeves for daily use.
Paper plates. I rarely eat at the table.

Paper towels for napkins, and also for placemats when needed.
Tablecloth and placemats on top for holidays, special other Sunday dinners, just placemats, rest of the time we eat whenever, usually in the living room.
Paper towel napkins and no placemats. Haven’t used placemats since little man was a baby.
