Bob the Squirrel by Frank Page for April 17, 2015

Is Frankignoring Bob. Poor Bob. He is going through a rough patch here.Almost reminds me of when his wannabe girlfriend thought she was dying.I would love to have a pet squirrel like Bob.But,, maybe a pet that you can talk to and understand would be hard.“hey Woman, my cage really needs cleaing, Now!”

Why is Bob more squirrel-looking than usual?

Not liking the after surgery Bob. Why did did he have plastic surgery to look like every other squirrel? He was unique and it went well with his sarcasm. Now he looks like a drawn squirrel trying to be funny.

What happened to Bob ? Frank are you redrawing Bob to see what the response is ? Bring back the old Bob, thank-you :-)

Why does Bob have a stand-in? Where is he? Is he OK?

Nope…do not like the new Bob. He is too real and not funny. That is what made the REAL Bob so funny. Where are you Bob????

Yeah, gotta say the old Bob is much better. Hoping this is just a phase, ‘cause if not, I think I’ll find something else to read.

No one’s ever read Kafka?

I’ve been a reader of this strip for years and years, and the only thing about it I always DIDN’T like was how little Bob looked like a squirrel. So I’m glad to see you’re revamping the art (if that’s what you’re doing). People always hate change so you’re probably going to get a lot of negative comments at first… but I hope you keep it up. If Bob looks a little generic now, I think that’ll settle into a more distinctive style as you find a good compromise between realistic and stylized.

Bob, if that’s who you are, Frank no longer recognizes you! Please change back to your REAL self, not your alternate body. Please?

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where they all became 3D. Either that or someone bet Frank that he couldn’t drawxa reaistic squirrel…

If Frank wants to draw Bob wearing a pink tutu I could care less. I enjoy this strip and how Frank shares aspects of his life through it. No complaints here….thank you Frank and Bob!!!
