It ain’t about technique. It’s all about feel. No drummer yet has captured what he had. Of course he used a 26" bass drum. Almost no one uses a bass drum that size; hence the big sound.What can I say; I’ve been drumming in bands for 45+ years.

Bonzo still lives on for many of us.
. . . and the beat goes on. Bonzo couldn’t provide a reggae beat, but he was a helluva innovative rock drummer!
