    He wrote several highly influential architectural theory books, built a few houses and villas in the hinterland of Venice and inspired the style known as Palladianism. As the comic suggests he was even more obsessed with symmetry than your average Renaissance architect.

    Perhaps the only architect in history I really appreciate. I spent several enchanting hours listening classical concerts at his “Teatro olimpico” in Vicenza.

    And the piece of music by Karl Jenkins which is generally known as “Diamond Music” for its use jewelry ads years back is from a work named “Palladio” for its elegance and symmetry.
