Haha! Aaaaagh! aeep veep soeep $#@! Dad! Wait! It's ok! It's not blood! It's just red marker! I'm playing Zorro, see, and he uses a sword to put his initial, which is a Z on to anybody. I know who Zorro is, son! Can we discuss this when I'm not late for work!?

If I had done this when I was 6, I would not have had time to say “Dad! Wait! It’s OK!” I might even still be alive to tell the tale.

Doc, that was probably where Zorro spent the night.

Nice to see that kids remember Zorro. When I was a kid I had a “Zorro” plastic sword with a small cup at its point which would hold a piece of chalk, with which you could leave a “Z” on any surface. Probably better than using a marker.

Zorro had to be one of the worst old radio shows as far as the “masked crusader” genre goes. But seeing as a few of those episodes have survived, there was probably some far worse Lone Ranger knockoff that I’ve never heard

Sarah looks equally pleased with Eddie’s practice art work on the wall. sigh. I do hope that is not a permanent marker. Poor Eddie. Grounded for life.
