Who in their right mind would give a rubber band gun to a toddler? Toddlers have not yet developed a sense of right and wrong. They naturally will prefer living targets because they get reactions out of them and would not care if they hurt their living targets. It is best not to give any projectile toys until they are much older. Just basic common sense – which Wally apparently had none.

Max needs the slingshot snatched out of his hand and Alix needs a good long timeout and needs to work off the broken window. She knew she was doing the wrong thing — since she tried to hide it from Val.
