The Republicans are doing a version of the little boy who cried wolf. They keep coming up with scandals and spending the public’s time and money on them until they finally turn up nothing much and fizzle out. Eventually, they are going to have something actually worth talking about to work on, and no one is going to believe it.

Poor start to the cartoon, since panel 2 happens to be true (google “Malia clothes”)… satire is losing the race.

When G.W. Bush moved into the White House in 2001, there were a number of stories about how the Clintons and their staff sabotaged the offices (removing keys from computer keyboards, jamming desk drawers, “losing” keys to rooms, etc.) apparently out of spite. Also how the White House staff joyfully welcomed the Bushes after having served the vile Clintons. Turned out, of course, the stories were planted by Republican operatives, many news sources were too lazy to check them out before publishing the stories, and the stories were just not true.

@Alabama_Al: Not true. The GAO conducted an investigation, and concluded ‘’damage, theft, vandalism and pranks did occur in the White House complex.’’

If the truth ever came out – (well, that will never happen).
