’It’s easy to demonize the ‘others’ whoever they may be…’
Did you read your own post? You just wished that people would get thrown in jail for no reason, mostly because they express an opinion you don’t agree with. The point is no one should have to be thrown in jail for minor offenses. This shouldn’t be about revenge. Why do so many Leftie commentators on this board want to make it about revenge?

Yeah, white women hit the power locks on their windows when I walk by. Store security follows me when I shop. Cops treat me way differently. Look I’m not condoning some black behavior. Neither am I condoning some white behavior. But try walking a mile in someone else’s shoes. Oh, and my son runs an inner city middle school, so trust me I know quite a it about this stuff.

You’ve obviously never really experienced any of this behavior. I can assure you he has had these experiences in spades (!). He said as much. Lots of black culture is dysfunctional and abhorrent. The same is true for a bunch of white culture, at least to me. But my fervent wish would be for all those whites who think there’s no racism in Ferguson to wake up and find themselves having turned into a black American. Be real interesting. By the way, I also think that black culture, as such, is just plain stupid and racist on its own. But empathy is a higher order emotion than racism, fear of the “other” and tribal animosity, and I believe should be preferred as a default attitude.
