I agree with Simon_Jester, but I don’t quite get the joke.
Many of these I don’t get, and I don’t think it’s just because of the time period either. I think Crosby’s sense of humor was a bit off.
In the second strip the boy is in the church,supposedly atoning after Skippy’s berating. In the third strip, Skippy is talking about making the other boy a “gent” while not behaving as such. It’s not a LOL strip.
